Graunt respects intellectual-property rights and acts on repeated infringement. This policy explains how Graunt records strikes and escalates enforcement against accounts and organizations that repeatedly infringe or appear to repeatedly infringe copyright. It works together with the DMCA Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Terms of Service.

Where it applies

This policy covers everything you put on Graunt: public listings, packet uploads, refinery drafts, private storage items, files prepared for listing, and content shared through access passes. Private material is covered even though it never appears in the public catalog, search, agent discovery, or other public surfaces.

Strikes

Graunt may record a strike when it removes or disables material after a valid copyright notice, when it acts on a court order, when previously removed material is re-uploaded, when an account tries to evade enforcement, or when materially similar infringing content is repeatedly distributed through the same account or related accounts. Graunt may decline to count a strike — or remove one later — when a notice is withdrawn, a counter-notice succeeds, a notice was mistaken or abusive, or the account did not control the material.

Enforcement ladder

Graunt may escalate from removing material and requiring acknowledgment, to restricting publishing, storage, pass creation, downloads, or sales, to suspending or terminating an account or organization. Graunt may move straight to suspension or termination for egregious or evasive conduct — large-scale infringement, evasion across multiple accounts, false ownership claims, or attempts to hide infringing material in private storage or access-pass flows.

Counter-notices, appeals, and records

Nothing here limits your right to file a DMCA counter-notice. You may ask Graunt to review a strike, restriction, suspension, or termination through the channels in the DMCA Policy or your account dashboard; Graunt may ask for rights, license, or source evidence. Graunt keeps enforcement records for legal, security, audit, and dispute purposes.
