Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Graunt, a marketplace for source-backed, rights-aware, machine-usable data packets and access products. By creating an account, buying or selling a packet, or otherwise using Graunt, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Graunt for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so. Graunt is currently available to users in the United States only.
What Graunt is
Graunt is a marketplace. Sellers list packets — structured collections of source material with declared rights, provenance, evaluation evidence, manifests, and delivery records. Buyers and their agents discover, acquire, and use those packets. Graunt provides the marketplace, evaluation surfacing, payment processing, and delivery infrastructure; Graunt is not the author or publisher of seller-listed packets and does not warrant their factual accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or legal sufficiency beyond the evidence each listing declares.
Accounts
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials, API keys, and access passes secure. Do not share secrets, and do not put credentials in URLs. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. Graunt may suspend or close an account for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, rights violations, or to protect the marketplace.
Buying packets
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. At checkout you see the packet price plus any processing fee that makes up your total; that breakdown is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; Graunt does not store full card numbers. When a purchase completes you receive an entitlement that grants the access the listing describes (for example download, key access, or query access), subject to the rights recorded with that listing.
Purchases are final except for the narrow reversal grounds described in the Refund policy (rights failure, fraud or unauthorized sale, or technical delivery failure). Buyer dissatisfaction or change of mind is not a qualifying ground.
Selling packets
If you list a packet, you represent that you have the rights to sell what you list, that the rights and provenance you declare are accurate, and that your listing does not infringe anyone else's rights. Every listing passes marketplace review before it becomes available for purchase. Review checks the declared evidence and policy compliance; it is not a guarantee of legal sufficiency, factual truth, or downstream utility. You are responsible for honoring the rights you grant to buyers.
Acceptable use
Do not use Graunt to upload, sell, or distribute material you lack the rights to; to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights; to upload malware or attempt to breach security; to scrape or abuse the marketplace or its APIs outside the access you hold; or to misrepresent the rights, provenance, or contents of a packet. Graunt may remove listings and restrict access to enforce this section.
Intellectual property and rights
Sellers retain ownership of what they list, subject to the rights they grant buyers through the marketplace. Buyers receive only the rights the listing declares and the rights snapshot recorded with their entitlement — nothing more. The Graunt name, marketplace software, and site content are owned by Graunt and may not be copied or reused except as these Terms allow. If you believe a listing infringes your rights, contact support@graunt.com.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Graunt is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graunt disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement for seller-listed material. Graunt evaluates and surfaces evidence; it does not certify the truth, quality, or legal sufficiency of packets beyond that declared evidence. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graunt's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the marketplace is limited to the amounts you paid to Graunt for the transaction giving rise to the claim.
Changes and governing law
Graunt may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, surfaced in the product. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United States and the U.S. state in which Graunt operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
